After finally getting the results for my exam I officially have my Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. It definitely feels good. So good, I want to get a new passport in which the profession will say - you guessed it, JOURNALIST :-) ***smiley face not included***
It has been such an eye-opening, interesting, magnificent and stressful experience spanned over four years. Who would of thought that it would have culminated into some of the best made friendships, amazing travel adventures, mindful and sometimes mindless booze soaked shenannigans that one could never have imagined.
"What's the next step?" they ask me. I reply "I'm taking it one day at a time and I will see where the wind blows me. There are more countries and cultures that I need to conquer dammit!"
Who's joining me for the ride?

WORLD CUP 2010... AND OTHER NEWS
I'm sure by now you have at least seen one World Cup match, if not, well you are missing out on the hype and the history that is World Cup 2010 in beautiful South Africa. I enjoyed the colourful inauguration entertainment. Shocker to see R. Kelly on the lineup! Who's idea was that?! WAKA WAKA!
I ended up randomly constructing a poem with a close friend of mine and neither of us wrote down the lines and we don't remember it. Sad thing is that it was a really great poem. The plan is to sit down again and do it all over again :-)

NO MORE GARRISONS IN JAMAICA?
Show me a selfless party leader and I will cast my vote.
By now most of you have heard or seen what has been happening in the Caribbean island of Jamaica. Is it a disaster incomparable to the earthquake that struck Haiti in January of this year? What I do know is that it is a catastrophe that was constructed over decades of politcal strongholds, greed, violence and mental slavery. Talk about the ignorance of a nation that has been upheld by those who have casted votes in elections throughout said time.
As a Jamaican I am free because I never voted nor am I a registered voter. "Why haven't you voted?", many have asked. I reply, "I can not vote for either political parties because I can not support a government who refuses to abolish garrison communities then make discourses against crime."
JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED!

THE PLEDGE
-I'll buy you chocolate covered raisins when I have to apologize for something
-I'll cook for you, and put my soul into it just because...
-I'll send you text messages whenever I think of you
-I'll respect and care for you
-You will occupy 80% of my daily thoughts
-You will be the love of my life

CLUB NIGHTS IS ONE OF THE REASONS I LOVE LIFE
I like going out clubbing; especially in the company of nice beautiful women who just love to cut a rug once in a while. It's even better when you add alcholic beverages to the mix and the token drunk girl who just gives you lots of laughter. How about the ones who end up speaking different languages when they are all liquored up? HAHAHAHA I LOOOOOOOOOVE IT!
